How do I find my first corn snake?

How do I find my first corn snake?

Morphmarket does allow to filter for sellers willing to export to xyz country (like canada). Could be worth a try. Checking reptile shows and their breeder lists may also yield some result.

Oh I didn’t know that I’ll look into it! Any ideas on reptile shows and breeder lists to look at? I don’t understand how to find them

AccordingCut6673

I'm european so unfortunatley don't know any specific shows over there. However, just googling "canada (or your region-province) reptile expo" should give you at least some results. You can then check the social media account or website of these expos for the list of attending breeders (not all shows necessarily them).

Have you thought about adoption? Corn snakes are so popular you might find a friendly one up for adoption!

I don’t really care for morphs and never have but ima her whatever morph you choose you’re going to absolutely love

_LightOfTheNight_

I agree. That’s why I chose it. The issue is that finding it feels hopeless

It’s an American company

Non-fancy morphs can still be good snakes. Like humans, they all have their own personality and temperament. If you're absolutely set on a specific morph, looking for local/regional reptile expos is a good option! Sometimes breeders shipping to countries with strict export laws or fees will do a group order if several people in that region want their animals. Looking for local herp societies can also open up some resources!
